Carlton Stewart is a member of many civic and professional groups and associations. He is a frequent panelist on issues related to public affairs, diversity, equal employment opportunity and other workplace issues
Mr. Stewart served as House Counsel to Shell Oil Company and Senior House Counsel to Delta Air Lines. Subsequently, he served as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Atlanta District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and as the Special Counsel to the Chairman of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He is a registered lobbyist in the State of Georgia and Washington, D.C.
Mr. Stewart functioned as legislative liaison of the Chairman to Congress and other federal agencies. He was also honored with the Chairman’s ”Distinguished Service Award.” Thereafter, he entered private practice, emphasizing employment law and launched the Stewart Group, providing services in all areas of public affairs, government relations including EEO and Diversity consulting.
Mr. Stewart is a graduate of Holy Cross College, and earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
