Herman “Drew” Andrews is a retired veteran, having served in the Army for 21 years.  During his service, he participated in many humanitarian missions helping underdeveloped countries around the world. In 2007, Drew made the transition from serving the nation to impacting his community by working to end chronic homelessness as the Services Coordinator at the Gateway Center.

Drew is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration and a minor in Nursing Education. He has a MBA from Clark Atlanta University.

Drew is the President of the Atlanta Urban League Guild and serves on the Board of Directors of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta.
