The Client Engagement Center (CEC) serves as a resource center during the day and an evening emergency response center. The CEC is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so clients can access basic, humane services all the time. The CEC provides:
Through the CEC, non-residential clients needing food can be referred to existing programs and ministries that provide food. Emergency food (i.e. cereal bars, energy bars, etc.) is provided to non-residential program clients when necessary. A shuttle service operates 5 days a week and makes numerous stops at partner agencies and other locations where homeless individuals receive assistance. The CEC can link clients with:
An important program of the CEC is the Reunification Program, in collaboration and partnership with Travelers Aid of Metropolitan Atlanta. The Reunification Program provides the means for homeless persons to be reunified with family or resources in other communities where a support system already exists that can help the individual more quickly end their homelessness.
