MEN’S STABILIZATION
PROGRAM

The Men’s Stabilization Program has 20 beds and 20 mats for men who need stabilization and are in need of short-term housing. Clients are referred to appropriate community programs and resources following the initial intake and assessment. In addition, assigned Gateway staff daily review progress on finding appropriate housing for these program clients.

• Maximum 14-day program housed on the 2nd floor of the Gateway Center
• Provides beds for:
  • HOPE program of Atlanta Police Department
  • Atlanta Police Department Airport Hope Team
  • VA 72-hour Emergency Bed Program
  • Grady ER Hospital-to-Home Program
• Admission to the program is through the Program Coordinator
• Referrals to the program can be made through a variety of avenues, including, Gateway Center Case managers or partner agencies
