Assessment Program

Gateway Center’s Men’s Assessment program is the first step on most Gateway Client’s journey toward ending their homelessness and achieving self-sufficiency. In order to enter our Employment, Training/Support, or Life Changers Program, all clients must first complete our 2-4 week assessment program.

This program provides outreach and case management to men experiencing homelessness with mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders, who are unable or unwilling to access traditional services on their own.

Requirements:

  • Negative TB test within last 60 days
  • Motivation to get out of homelessness
  • Must have hire-able potential

Preferred (but not required): Homeless Verification Letter, Valid State ID, Social Security #
