Amanda van Dalen is the Director of Residential Services and Coordinated Entry for the Gateway Center. Amanda began her career with the Gateway Center in 2013. As Director, she provides the program administration and clinical oversight for 80 units of housing at the Gateway Center which include beds for stabilization, employment and substance use. In addition, Amanda leads Gateway’s collaborative partnership with the Atlanta Continuum of Care to provide a “single point of entry” intake and assessment process for individuals experiencing homelessness in Atlanta. Amanda earned a Masters in Social Work from The University of Georgia in 2011 and has since then earned certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2014. Amanda is committed to services and partnerships that will end chronic homelessness and make homelessness in general rare and brief for individuals and families in Atlanta. In her spare time, Amanda is a foster mom for Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services.
