El Cabrel Lee, Director of Resource Development
El Cabrel Lee joined Gateway Center as the Director of Resource Development in November, 2017. He is a fund development professional with executive level experience in strategic planning and resource development. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Mr. Lee has served in leadership roles that have allowed him to raise funds and friends for various United Way programs, private and public institutions.
Prior to joining Gateway Center, Mr. Lee was the Director of Development for Dillard University and served as the Government Liaison and lead fundraiser for the Seminole County Health Department, where he leveraged funding and spearheaded the development of the Office of Men’s Health. He also served as the Director of Community Relations and Resource Development for the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, where he was responsible for the direction and execution of three signature educational projects and several fundraising campaigns including galas and year end appeals.
An Illinois native, El Cabrel enjoys traveling, spending time with family and exploring all types of cuisine. He is actively a member of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church and involved in several civic and community organizations throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
