The Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) Programs – Mental Health

 

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities provides funding to Gateway Center’s partner PATH agencies (Mercy Care, Community Friendship, HOPE Atlanta) maintain 20 beds at the Gateway Center.  PATH teams conduct street outreach to identify homeless individuals with mental illness, engage them in treatment, and connect them to mental health services and mainstream resources needed to end their homeless cycle.  This includes utilizing beds and services at the Gateway Center.
