    Outstanding Corporate Volunteer

Presented to Vicar Kim Jackson and Church of the Common Ground for outstanding contributions to Gateway Center during the past year by both their parishioners and volunteers. During the past year, Church of the Common Ground provided multiple Foot Clinics for Gateway Center’s guests. While these amazing volunteers wash and massage the feet of Gateway Center’s guests, they reinforce that each person has innate worth and deserves to be treated with dignity! This award recognizes Church of the Common Ground for their compassion for our guests. They have supported our efforts to ensure our guests have the resources they need, including a comfortable and safe place to call home as they transition from homelessness to stable housing.

    Outstanding Individual Volunteer

Presented to Montasha Neal of JP Morgan Chase for her outstanding contributions to Gateway Center. Montasha has demonstrated her commitment to Gateway Center’s guests by teaching Financial Literacy Workshops on a weekly basis since 2022. She is passionate about assisting our guests in understanding and creating budgets, grasping the importance of savings, providing tips to assist with effectively managing checking accounts, and understanding credit scores. We want to thank Montasha for providing our guests with additional guidance on managing their finances as Financial Literacy leads to self-sufficiency and financial stability!  This award recognizes Montasha Neal for displaying excellence in serving individuals experiencing homelessness and modeling social responsibility at the highest level, particularly as it relates to Gateway Center and our efforts to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
